Cut Loose Festival

Image
Hey Blogger Nation I went to the Cut Loose music festival in Holycross Co Tipperary. The festival is now in its fourth year.It all started when the GAA Club was in debt after building a parvillian and they needed to pay off this debt .so local TD Michael Lowery decided to organise  a country music festival. He didnt do this single handed he  had a great band of helpers which was visable on the ground yesterday, as it all ran like a dream. Even the weather was perfect for the event. This year they had quite a line up for the show. Such as Nathan Carter, Mike Denver, Michael English, Robert Mizzell, and Lisa McHugh! amazingly the tickets were only twenty euro which is a bargain to see some of the most popular artists in Country right now!  So my parents and I were having a picnic in our car while we were enjoying the  music of Robert Mizzell and Michael English! We then arrived into the park and sat down with our flip up chairs etc. Everyone at the festival was so friend

Meeting Nic Westaway

Image
Hey Blogger Nation, How you all doing?  Last Thursday I went to see Nic Westaway from Home & Away in Bishopstown Bar once again! Got there with my friend Rachel at 5:35pm and we queued to get our wristbands. We were yellow.  Nic came to the bar around 6:20 and he did his interview with Cork's Red FM and met the VIP guests. We were the third group to be called to meet Nic. While waiting on the stairs to meet Nic, there was two girls behind us and they were cracking up and so excited to meet Nic and telling each other how there were going meet him eg like hugging him or touching his ass (lol poor Nic) Well I can definitely  say Nic is quite a hugger! I got two big hugs from Nic. He's like a teddy bear (I need someone like that to hug all the time!) I just said a few words to him saying my mum and brother love him. I was so flustered to meet him that's all I could say to him! After meeting Nic, Rachel and I decided to get Bishopstown's well known pizzas!

Jungle | July Artist

Image
Hey Blogger Nation! So my artist of the month is Jungle. A modern soul band from London England. Formed in 2013 by  Tom McFarland and Josh Lloyd-Watson. Tom and Josh How I found the band was through iTunes when their single of "Julia" was the free song of the week. And I could not stop playing that song! Due their music sense of style they are completely different kind of genre music I usually listen to which would be pop, dupstep, electric and country but I absolutely love it!  The Full Band of Jungle Jungle claims their sense of style is  " midtempo 1970s-style funk "   and their music is intermixed with " tropical percussion, wildlife noises, falsetto yelps, psychedelic washes and badoinking bass " Which I love may I say! Jungle are getting more and more popular due to their song "Busy Earning" been used for adverts which is great! They are also now getting to played on the main stage of Glastonbury Festival in 2014 and agai

Hey Blogger Nation, Second year Nathan Carter was at Live at the Marquee in Cork and this time it was bigger!! Due to popularity and high demand Nathan decided to come back to the Rebel county to do his second live concert recording in Cork. I was very excited to see Nathan again as I last saw him in February in the Cork Opera House.  All photos from Nathan Carter's Facebook Page  Nathan sang some great songs, some were new and some were old ones we love. And even a Cork song was sung by Nathan. Nathan dressed very well with some well fitting suits for the show, and also had a few new members of the band for the special concert! There was 4,000 people went to see Nathan in Cork young and old and danced, sang and absolutely loved it! Music definitely bring people together which I love! Nathan also is getting alot more young people to like country music which is great too!  The Marquee filled with Nathan's fans The support act was Lisa McHugh and was great! I

Meeting Steve Peacocke

Image
Hey Blogger Nation, Have you ever thought I want to meet someone from a television that is one of the most popular shows in Ireland and in Australia? Well last month I got to meet Steve Peacocke aka Brax from Home & Away who's currently on his farewell tour. My friend informed me to say that Steve was coming to Cork! We both got very excited and agreed we go together. We got our tickets online and finally the day came! We arrived to a very busy bar of fans an half an hour early, we queued to get our wristbands. This was the clever thing that Bishopstown Bar did, they used colored wristbands for groups and meet Steve more quickly and more relaxing for staff and fans. Our group was sliver and we were the third group to be called to meet Steve. When we got to meet Steve he was so nice and his smile just melts you. And his Australian  accent was so nice! Steve asked for our names and said I had a lovely name because it was so different! (OMG I died when he said
