What I got for Christmas 2015

Hey Blogger Nation! Not many hours until it's 2016! Here's what I got for Christmas this year! This is my third year showing what I got Christmas! I did a small secret santa with three other cork bloggers (cloggers!) and theses are the lovely gifts I received. The Burts Bee box smells amazing, and can I just say it's very thoughtful who ever was my secret santa again Thank you! <3 From my Grandparents I got a signed Binge by Tyler Oakley one of my favorite YouTubers telling his story. Reading it at the moment and I'm loving it! And I got a handbag I was eyeing in Topshop love it!  From Aunt and Uncle A Kate Spade mug, Two Ambercrombie & Fitch perfume and body spray and Urban Decay Vice eyeshadow Platte. The real meaning of Christmas

Hey blogging Nation! So I wanted to share my meaning of Christmas to you all. I love to share Christmas with my family yes we may argue on Christmas day about the dinner like many others! On Christmas Day I go to mass, I know not many young people don't go to mass anymore because it isn't cool but Christmas mass is very special celebrating Jesus Christ birthday and lighting the advent wreath candles during the five weeks of December. I never ever forget the charities when I see people collecting on the streets in Cork. I'm always giving a few bob. And the the past two years I would go to mass, there be Christmas presents suggestions for someone in the community. unfortunately in our community we don't see the people suffering behind doors. Christmas Gingerbread Cookies

Hey Blogger Nation! So I'm now officially finished college for Christmas so I started baking during last weekend and I was practicing some baking with cookies and thanks to my wonderful mum she found a great cookie recipe from one of our books we have called Cakes for romantic occasions. Ingredients: 6oz butter 7oz caster sugar 2 large eggs 14oz plain flour 1tsp baking powder 1/4 teaspoon of ginger Method Pre heat oven for 180oC. Cream butter and  sugar until pale and creamy. Beat the eggs into the sugar/butter mixture. Sift the plain flour, baking powder and ginger into the mixture and mix on a low speed with mixer until dough forms. Cut half of the dough and cling film both and place into fridge for an hour, or if you don't have the time place it into the freezer for 10 minutes. Place one dough ball onto floured surface and roll out about 0.5cm thick Using whatever cutter you want to cut out cookie shapes and repeat again with the rest of th

Hey blogger's nation! I'm sorry I didn't have any post last week as I been so busy with college and had work experience but I'm back! It's so close to Christmas and I thought you bakers out their like me it's the perfect time to make a Christmas Chocolate Yule Log!  Now I got to bake a yule log last Thursday as in our course (professional cookery) we did cooked a Christmas dinner. I was luckily I was on the desserts so I got the chance to bake this delicious little thing for customers in our little restaurant we open during the college season. Ingredients 170g Dark chocolate 5 eggs 170g Caster Sugar 2tsp water Filling 1 shallow swiss roll tin 1-2 tsp of rum icing sugar raspberry jam or cream for the filling of the yog Pre heat oven 180oC Line the Swiss roll tin with oil and grease proof paper Separate the eggs, put the yolks into a bowl. Gradually add castor sugar and whisk until mixture is thick and pale
